Communication cards for foreign patients and medical staff
The Ministry of Health introduced bilingual communication cards to facilitate communication between Czech medical staff and foreign patients. The cards are available in nine language versions (English, Arabic, Bulgarian, German, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese). Each card includes a set of questions in the Czech language, translation into a foreign language and its phonetic transcription. The cards are focused on the fields of pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, nursing care and internal medicine. The last set of cards contains a list of health problems and terms related to alimentation. The list of the cards can be found here.
