SOUHRN
Threat assessment představuje dnes značně různorodou a vnitřně zatím málo strukturovanou oblast. Autorka se v článku zaměřuje na interpretaci a vyhodnocení výhrůžek a hrozeb obsažených v řečovém chování obvykle v textech anonymních pisatelů. Zastává názor, že odborné vyhodnocení těchto hrozeb je v mnoha ohledech důležité. Popisuje možnosti a limity současného rozpoznání či odlišení planých výhrůžek od vážně míněných hrozeb.

SUMMARY
Threat assessment now represents a greatly varied area, not much internally structured. In her article, the author focuses on interpretation and evaluation of verbal assaults and threats contained in verbal behaviour, usually in texts by anonymous letter-writers. She is of the opinion that expert evaluation of these threats is important in many respects. She describes the possibilities and limitations of current recognition, or the distinction between idle threats and the ones that are meant seriously.

ZUSAMMENFASSUNG
Threat assessment stellt heutzutage ein sehr buntes und bisher wenig strukturiertes Gebiet dar. Die Autorin des Artikels konzentriert sich auf die Interpretierung und die Auswertung von Drohungen und Androhungen, die im Sprachverhalten und gewöhnlich in Texten der anonymen Schreiber enthalten sind. Sie vertritt die Meinung, dass eine fachliche Beurteilung solcher Drohungen in mancher Hinsicht wichtig ist. Sie beschreibt die Möglichkeiten und Limite der gleichzeitigen Erkennung und der Unterscheidung zwischen blinden Drohungen und ernst gemeinten Androhungen.
