Since France has not appointed its national rapporteur, its responsibilities have fallen on the shoulders of various public bodies in charge of combating trafficking in human beings, such as the ministry of interior (OCRTEH, OCLTI, OCRIEST, DAV), ministry of social affairs, labour, and solidarity, ministry o housing (DGAS) and ministry of justice (Department collection and analysis of trafficking in human beings). - 9.2. Anti-trafficking activities in France (prevention and suppression) are not coordinated by one single body.
