Important notice: In line with the Resolution of the Government No. 387, as of April 14th, 2020 only selected categories of persons may cross the borders in the intervals shorter than 14 days - these categories are cross-border workers in health and social services, workers of integrated rescue system (IRS) and workers of critical infrastructure service.

As a new rule, during the crossing of the border these persons must have for the purpose of work/work performance abroad apart from a confirmation for a cross-border worker in health, social services, IRS and critical infrastructure also a diplomatic note of an embassy of the country where they travel for work (if they travel to Austria, then they must have a note issued by the Embassy of Austria in Prague, if they travel to Slovakia, they must have a note issued by the Embassy of Slovakia in Prague, etc.) This note shall confirm that the given country, specifically the employer for whom the person works, shall adopt such measures at the workplace which shall prevent the spread of the virus SARS CoV-2 (e.g. wearing of protective respiratory system devices). In cases you belong to one of the abovementioned categories, we recommend to contact your employer who shall request the issuing of the note at the respective embassy.
