Effective from October 28th, 2020 the Government updated the crisis measure on the ban of free movement of persons in the territory of the Czech Republic

It is possible to travel to the Czech Republic only for essential reasons, such as travels to work, to see the family, to healthcare facilities, to weddings or funerals etc. 

On October 21st, 2020 the Government of the Czech Republic decided on the ban to the free movement of all persons

in the territory of the Czech Republic that comes into force on October 22nd, 2020 (06:00). 

Effective from October 5th, 2020 the Government of the Czech Republic approved the declaration of the state of emergency in the whole territory of the Czech Republic

Rules for entering the Czech Republic are defined by the Health Ministry Protective Measure that has been approved by the Minister of Health with an effect from October 5th, 2020. 

On September 11th, 2020 the Ministry of Health updated the list of countries with a low risk of Covid-19

As announced earlier, Canary Islands will be excluded from the list as of September 14th, 2020. On the contrary, Romania was included in the list again. 

As of August 3rd, based on evaluation of the epidemiologic situation, Romania is no longer considered as the country with a low risk

Travelling from Romania is subject to rules in the Protective measure. 

As of July 27th, 2020, a list of countries with a low risk of COVID-19 will be updated

Sweden will be included in the list. People arriving from this country do not need to submit PCR test result. 

Effective from July 20th, 2020 employees from Bulgaria, Romania and Portugal and from the countries that are not on the list of the countries with a low risk  have to submit a PCR test result to their employer

This condition applies to those employees who spend at least 12 hours within last 14 days in one of those countries. 

The list of countries with a low risk of COVID-19 contragion has been updated at July 10th, 2020

As of July 13th, 2020 based on evaluation of epidemiologic situation, Serbia and Montenegro will be no longer considered as the countries with a low risk. 

Travel information after July 1st, 2020

On Tuesday, the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic further relaxed the rules of travel to the Czech Republic. These new rules come to effect on July 1st, 2020. 

The list of EU+ countries broken down by a level of risk has been updated (June 30th, 2020)

Poland and Great Britain are considered as countries with a low risk at the moment.
