New MEDEVAC patients from Cambodia
First two children patients from Cambodia arrived in Prague to be treated in Paediatric Cardiocentre in the Motol University Hospital. Two 3-years old Cambodians Auvin and Dauvin will both undergo a surgery to correct congenital heart disease.
Initially, boys have been chosen by Czech cardiologist in Cambodia to be operated in Czech Republic because of their serious health condition. On November 17, 2009 children arrived at Prague Airport accompanied by their mothers. They have been immediately transported to Motol University Hospital. After short quarantine treatment and new round of tests they should be admitted for heart surgery. Later on they will spend few weeks in recovery care before going back home to Cambodia.
