The Ministerial Meeting of the Salzburg Forum
Warsaw, 29th–30th May 2009 – The Ministerial Meeting of the Salzburg Forum states took place in Warsaw. The Czech Republic was represented by the Minister of the Interior Martin Pecina and the Police President Oldřich Martinů. The meeting was divided into two parts. The first part was dealing with topics related to the regional cooperation in the framework of Salzburg Forum (citizens‘ perception of the police and their confidence in it, security of big events, public transportation safety). The second part was dealing with the topics discussed on the EU level (Visa information system, Schengen information system II, Asylum package, Stockholm programme and the priorities of the Czech presidency of the EU).
